Steve Ridehalgh


With over 25 years of management and business development experience within the retail sector in the UK and internationally I have a broad operational knowledge.

I have experience in business management and strategic planning across operations, distribution, financial management, contract negotiations and the customer journey. After spending time in the Middle East working for the multinational Alshaya Trading, one of the largest franchise operators in the region, I returned to the UK and worked in the franchise operation of numerous well known High Street brands.

This has given me the opportunity to see both sides of the coin in terms of the needs and expectations of the franchisee as well as the changing requirements for the franchisor in a more digital world. In recent years I held the position of International Director for a number of retail businesses. This involved developing and delivering a long term strategy to grow the business via franchising as well as building up an extensive business network and knowledge of the regions.

I enjoy working for Partnerwise Franchise as its gives me the opportunity to work with both the franchisee and franchisor to help achieve growth and a strong profitable operation as well as provide support and advice on the operational areas of the business to all, including new, up and coming franchises.

Outside of work I take advantage of living near the coast and spend my free time paddle- boarding, kayaking, walking the coastal footpath and enjoying a refreshing pint or two en route!
